Gangas River

The idea is fascinating, how we are all connected despite the boundaries we’ve placed around us.

Here you will find a boat peacefully floating on top of the Ganges River. A body of water is considered the lifeline to millions of people living in its basin, depending on it for their daily needs. This river is connected to one large body of water surrounding all of us if you think of it. And the Ganges River is being threatened by severe pollution, which poses dangers to its life. We may not see it, but our selfish actions affect all of us, even the people on the other side of the planet from where we live.

If only we could find it in ourselves to try our best to live in harmony with the things giving us life. Maybe it will be easier for us to appreciate nature and all its gifts because we know that we have contributed to making it better for us and everyone else around. Today, it is never enough for us to do just the bare minimum to heal the planet from damage. We will have to really step up and make the difference we want to see.

And maybe we will never have to come to a time where we can only appreciate nature in photographs because its beauty has already vanished.
